New single "Far (Strings Version)" out now

"Far" has always been about the tension of letting yourself hope again after experiencing hurt.  I originally wrote this song as an 80s-synth-sad-bop (which I still adore!), but I've always wanted to create a piano-and-strings version that captured more of the heartache and longing in it.  I sent a new demo to producer Jared Salte (who produced the OG "Far" and "When We Were Young") and asked him to help me bring this dream to life -- and I couldn't be more pleased.  If the first version was a beautiful painting, this one is like cleaning away the varnish and seeing the deeper, richer colors underneath.
